Untitled Film Project

Table of Content
Untitled Film Project is the yet untitled experimental dark comedy project by Johnny Switchblade and Harrison Demas, scheduled to be completed in 2010 and premiere at a school talent show.

Outline

The project is more-or-less a series of grim and often shocking "skits" interwoven into each other to form a loose narrative. One of the major connections between skits is through a Granny character, who is seen reading one or two of the "skits" to her grandchildren as storybooks. Other skits will be connected in a similar manner to Monty Python's And Now For Something Completely Different. The general presentation and comedic style is based upon the works of the aforementioned troupe, Kids In The Hall, Stella, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, TROMA Films, and various exploitation/midnight movies of the 70s and 80s.

Scenes

  • One of the stories Granny tells is of a young man named Jeremy who is constantly tormented by visions and a constant stream of noise, which leads him to the forest where he meets the Devil (named "Satin") stuck in a hole. Satin begs Jeremy to help him out, stating that he will make all the torment go away and Jeremy will have all his loved ones back with him. Jeremy refuses to help Satin, and runs off into the darkness. When he awakens the next morning, he seems to be feeling much better, until he hears the desperate cries of someone stuck in the water. He rushes towards the voice and dives into the lake, but there's nobody there. Jeremy doesn't return to the surface, and he hear the prolonged cackle of Satin as the camera pans skyward.
